YN Scholarship
The National Coin & Bullion Association is accepting applications from young numismatists for a scholarship to the American Numismatic Association (ANA) Summer Seminar. The scholarship will cover the week-long seminar fee and airline transportation to and from the seminar.
The seminar, held on the Colorado College campus in Colorado Springs, offers a wide selection of classes for the beginner to the advanced collector. In addition to the daily classes, evening mini-seminars, informative numismatic presentations, and optional tours are available. To learn more about the ANA Summer Seminar, visit their website.
You must be between the ages of 13 and 22 to be eligible for a scholarship. The deadline for completed applications is December 31 of each year. The recipient of the scholarship will be contacted no later than January 31 of the following year, and announced in NCBA’s first-quarter newsletter.
The association established the scholarship fund in Diane Piret’s memory in 2015. Piret was the state affiars director for 25 years. To make a contribution to the scholarship fund, make your check payable to NCBA, and mail it to P.O. Box 237, Dacula, GA 30019. Be sure to write “Scholarship Fund” on the check’s memo line. Or donate online here.
