YN Scholarship

The National Coin & Bullion Association (NCBA) is currently accepting applications from young numismatists (YNs) for scholarships to attend the American Numismatic Association (ANA) Summer Seminar. This scholarship covers tuition for the week-long seminar and round-trip airline transportation to and from Colorado Springs, where the seminar is held.

The seminar takes place on Colorado College’s campus, offering a wide range of classes for both beginner and advanced collectors. Participants can also enjoy evening mini-seminars, engaging numismatic presentations, and optional tours. For more details, visit the ANA Summer Seminar website.

How to Donate
Contributors to the YN Scholarship program directly sponsor a young numismatist by covering the costs of their seminar fee and round-trip airfare. Payments are made directly to the American Numismatic Association (ANA), a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, allowing contributors to qualify for a tax deduction. This approach enables contributors to make a tangible impact in the life of an aspiring numismatist, while also enjoying the benefits of tax-deductible giving.

The scholarship fund was established in 2015 in memory of Diane Piret, who served as NCBA’s state affairs director for 25 years and was a passionate advocate for numismatics. For more information or to be matched with a scholarship recipient, please contact NCBA. For additional ways to support the scholarship fund or to learn more about the program, please email ncba@ncbassoc.org.
