ICTA Seeking YN Scholarship Applicants
The Industry Council for Tangible Assets (ICTA) established a scholarship fund in Diane Piret’s name to enable one Young Numismatist to attend an ANA Summer Seminar each summer.
ICTA is now accepting applications for its annual YN scholarship to the 2016 American Numismatic Association Summer Seminar. The scholarship will cover one week-long seminar fee and airline transportation to/from the seminar.
You must be age 13 to 22 at the time of the seminar to be eligible for a scholarship. The deadline for completed applications is December 31, 2015. The recipient of the scholarship will be contacted no later than January 31 and announced in the first-quarter newsletter of 2016. To obtain an application, click here, or email scholarship@ictaonline.org.
The seminar is held on the Colorado College campus in Colorado Springs. Numerous selections of classes are offered for beginner to advanced collectors. In addition to the daily classes, evening mini-seminars, informative numismatic presentations, and optional tours are available. To learn more about the ANA Summer Seminar, visit the ANA website.
To make a contribution to the scholarship fund, make your check payable to ICTA, and mail it to David Crenshaw, P.O. Box 237, Dacula, GA 30019. Be sure to write “Scholarship Fund” on the check’s memo line.
